Brightmoon quietly creeping through the camp and slowly peek in the leader's den. She whispered, "Ebonystar, I need you, I just recieved a message from StarClan," gulped Brightmoon.

((I'm so sorry, Brightmoon... >.> I tend to miss these things when I'm in a rush. So sorry for making you wait. Oh, and I hope it's ok if Ebonystar is in two places at once, here...))
Ebonystar had just been finishing off a small vole that had been her dinner when Brightmoon popped in; the LedgeClan leader swallowed the last mouthful of the prey carefully, and nodded to the other she-cat in greeting. But a few words to go with the gesture died in her throat, as Brightmoon spoke.
A message from StarClan? What sort of message could this be? She hoped, fervently, that it didn't contain more bad news for the forest Clans. Sitting up quickly and more stiffly than she intended, Ebonystar gathered her thoughts and pushed them aside so that she could listen properly.
"Yes, Brightmoon?" Ebonystar asked, trying to think positively. There was no way that StarClan could be sending an omen that was a sign of more trouble, right? With NightClan on the loose, all the forest Clans needed was more problems to cause their demise. "What did they say? Do you think it was about NightClan, or...?"
Realizing that she was getting ahead of herself with so many questions, the LedgeClan leader allowed her voice to trail off so that Brightmoon could actually speak to answer some of them. At least they were in contact with their warrior ancestors now, when they needed them most; it reassured her that the star-bound warriors would send a message now.

Brightmoon panted very hard, "Ebonystar, yes, it is a sign from StarClan." "Soon, a few select cats from every clan will receive very soon a gift greater than your wildest dreams. These will be used as an aide in battle, but you must be careful with their use. Using the gift will drain great amounts of energy, so think before you act." Her voice drained from ran very fast back to camp.

Ebonystar blinked once, twice, as she let the odd information sink into her mind. A gift from StarClan? This was indeed news, although the setbacks it could cause to cats who overused it could be more severe than even their warrior ancestors were hinting to them. But slowly, she nodded, accepting the medicine cat's words.
"This is good news," the LedgeClan leader said decidedly, nodding more vigorously now. How could she ever have thought that StarClan could do nothing to help them against NightClan's threat? Obviously, the Clan cats of old would aid them in any way possible, to save the forest they had once and always loved.
"Did they say anything more, Brightmoon? Any sign at all, of how the cats would gain these powers?" Ebonystar mewed eagerly, inwardly thanking the starry spirits watching over them from up above; if this message was true, then it could be their only hope against the life-stealing cats of NightClan. "I don't mean to pressure you, but we need as much information as possible."

"I am sorry, Ebonystar, that is sign that I all have," meowed Brightmoon sadly.
