An elder tom-cat padded in the camp very sore. His limbs are stiff and he seems like he can't move. His eyes become so weak before the jounrey. During the jounrey, his eyes went blind. Now, his ears are losing too. He is very old and older than FireClan even Willowstar. He can't smell that well. Luckily for him, his former apprentice, Flamewind guided him.
A dark ginger she-cat don't seem to be so happy. She is so worried about her elder. She meowed, "Seabiscuit? Are you all right?"
Seabiscuit meowed, "Of course, I am fine. Don't worry about me." He looked at her, it look like he can see her completely. He sighed roughly. He don't like to travel. Soon, he can feel mosses around the ground. He suddenly meowed, "This will be our elder's den."
Flamewind meowed, "I think so. There are so many mosses. I guess you are lucky and good to go tonight."
Seabiscuit proudly sit on the moss and lay in the heating sun. He sighed happily. His ears flicked with happiness.
Flamewind smiled at him as he went there, but her smile faded away because she know that he will die soon. She shook her head, trying to ingore the thought. She sighed then she helped other cats.

Willowstar bounded into the camp. She inspected the cave entrances for any signs of badgers or foxes and then wandered in a few tail-lengths before a wide smile lit up her face. Perfect! the old leader thought as she turned then to face the long billowing grasses of the field up ahead. "This will be our new camp," she said addressing the whole clan. "Warriors and apprentices will make their den inside, elders will get the alcove by the entrance and there's a spacious den along the opposite wall for the Medicine Cat's den. Welcome to the new FireClan camp!" Her voice rang and her eyes were aglow with pleasure. They had done it, FireClan survived and what more, they found a suitable new home to live in.

The hiss was audible throughout FireClan's camp. " Bloomin' caves! Don't know why cats like 'em!" The voice echoed with clear annoyance. Stopping dead, she felt a breeze and whacked her paw on the ground in annoyance. Upwind, the cat's ahead would have caught her scent, or at least heard her.

Seabiscuit seem like he don't hear the noise coming from the bushes. He ingored it and keep his company happily alone laying in the sun.
Flamewind helped other cats settled themselves in the dens, but soon as she can hear some voices coming from the bushes. She stopped, she crouched her hauches close to ground, hissed loudly to the bushes. She hissed, "Come out!"

" Oh aye, I'll come out. You think I'm scared of ya? Where is Willowstar?" The voice continued. Moments later, a large battle-scarred she-cat stepped into view. Fresh wounds were visable all over her body, steadily dripping blood. Walking a bit closer to Flamewind, a thick trail of blood followed. " Willowstar. I need to speak to her." Jay meowed, looking calmly at the Warrior.

Flamewind hissed at her, but stopped. She realized this she-cat is Jay. She meowed, "Jay. Sorry about that. Oh, Willowstar is over warrior's den right now." She pointed to warrior's den with her dark ginger tail. Then she looked at Jay's badly wounded body. She meowed, "And, what is wrong with you? Why do you come here?"

Willowstar stepped out of her new den and looked directly towards the familiar she-cat. "It's nice to see a familiar face, what can I do for you, Jay?" The grey leader sat with her tail neatly wrapped around her paws.

" At least someone is happy." Jay replied, sitting down heavily. " And what is wrong? Let's just say that some of my old friends came to the city to persuade me to come join them in your old territories." The she-cat replied, saracasm dripping from her voice before looking steadily at Willowstar. " I need help. I can't stay in my old home. So, I'm asking you, please," Jay paused gaze dropping to her paws. " May I join your Clan?"

The dark ginger she-cat didn't reply. She was very shocked to hear what Jay already said. Jay, being a warrior? She wouldn't last a minute, thought Flamewind. She looked at her leader, Willowstar with a challenge gaze. She flicked her ears in dismay. She glared at her former mentor, Seabiscuit to make sure he is all right. He seems love to rest in the sun all day, thought Flamewind. Suddenly, her heart thuddered, she wondered why it happened. She knew there are something wrong with Seabiscuit. She ran up to him and try to wake him up.
Seabiscuit, elder tom, his breathing faded slowly. His body had not moved an inch or two. His eyes were closed and he opened his honey eyes slowly. He start to cough feebly. He glared at his former apprentice, Flamewind with a narrow glare. He smiled softly, "Leave me alone. Your clan need you."
Flamewind yowled, "No! I can't!"She start to cry on Seabiscuit's smooth brown/ginger fur. She glared at him with saddness. They were friends for a long time.
Seabiscuit chuckled softly, "No, the clan needs young warriors to support the clan with all their might. They don't need cranky old ones like me. I don't feel that very well without my sight and hearing. I am happy to leave now after my paws walk on this earth for a long, long time. Good-bye, my friend." He closed his eyes gently, then his tail flicked once then stopped. His breathing faded away into darkness. His spirit flew away to join the ranks of StarClan. He is dead.
Flamewind yowled, "No!" She cried so hard. For next few minutes, she touched noses to Seabiscuit's nose. It felt so cold. She don't care if other cats talk to her. She ingored them, she watched Seabiscuit for a long time then glared at her leader, Willowstar. She sighed, nodded her head for her to reply. She glared at the gray she-cat, Jay.

Willowstar stood there a moment, somewhat surprised, but quickly replied to Jay, "Of course you may, but are you sure that this is the right path for you?" The grey leader flicked her glance Flamewind and silently gave the signal that she could attend to the body of the beloved warrior. Before she took her gaze from the she-cat, she sent a message of sorrow to her. However, seeing thet there was another important thing to attend to, she turned to Jay once more and spoke, "I suggest that you spend the night with us and then make your decision in the morning. I will not hold you against whatever you choose. As of right now, I must attend to another matter," she gave Jay a warm look, "Please excuse me." Willowstar then adverted her attention to Flamewind. She padded over to sit beside her, in an attempt to comfort the warrior. She closed her eyes and wrapped her tail around the forlorn she-cat for a moment, then she whispered comfortingly into her ear. "He was a proud, loving cat. And, he still is."

Flamewind sobbed. She didn't look at Willowstar or Jay or any other cats. She only can watch Seabiscuit. She sighed, closed her amber eyes. She closed her mouth gently and give her silence for a moment, then her eyes and her mouth opened again. She sighed, she sounds more confident and more stronger than before when she cried so hard. She sighed, feeling Willowstar trying to comfort her, but it didn't work. She want Seabiscuit back, but she know that it is impossible. She meowed gently at Willowstar, "It is so hard for me now after I lost my son, Fogkit and my beloved friend, Seabiscuit." She remembered a gray tom a long time ago dying in the waters. She sniffed, paused for a moment then she meowed, "I am sorry, Willowstar, for what I did." She sighed, left Willowstar alone in the clearing. She gazed at Jay once then she was gone.

Phoenixflame padded up to Jay. "I'll show you the den if you would like," the large ginger tom offered, "or I could give you the grand tour of our camp." He was openly friendly to this strong loner. He knew what it was like to be lonely. He hoped that he could be a friend to Jay. "Or maybe you need to see the medicine cat." Phoenixflame eyed Jay's wounds with an appraising look. "It looks as if you were fighting monsters on the Thunderpath."

Jay nodded. " Maybe...a Medicine Cat? I would like to keep all my limbs intact." She joked quietly, not wanting to be disrespectful to the Clan after an elder had died. " Those who attacked me are no better than the monsters on the Thunderpath." She added, yawning. " What is your name?" Jay asked looking at the ginger cat.

"I'm Phoenixflame," he replied. "And don't worry; I don't think Willowstar will turn you away. Our Clan will protect you from those rogues." He took Jay over to the medicine cat's den. "Are you in there?" he called to the medicine cat. "Jay needs some assistance."

Flamewind once returned back from her mourning for Seabiscuit. She didn't look back at anyone. She just sit next to Seabiscuit. She sighed softly then she start to wondering. Soon, she saw a young apprentice come and sit next to her. She sighed, begin to share her good old times with Seabiscuit. "He was such fine tom," sighed Flamewind as her eyes start to watered. Her tears began to drip slowly. She didn't look at the apprentice nor anyone.
((I need someone to have an apprentice of FireClan for Flamewind!!))
